The <strong>Student Council for Physics and Astronomy<\/strong> is the union of all students of physics; <strong>all students of the Faculty<\/strong> of Physics and Astronomy, including PhD students, are <strong>members of this student council<\/strong>. Every semester, the student council&#8217;s plenary assembly of the members, so to say the legislature of the student council, meets and in particular elects student representatives, which basically represent the executive branch of the student council.<\/span><\/p>\n<div id=\"tw-target-text-container\" class=\"tw-ta-container F0azHf tw-nfl\" tabindex=\"0\">\n<p id=\"tw-target-text\" class=\"tw-data-text tw-text-large XcVN5d tw-ta\" dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"\u00dcbersetzung\"><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">In this branch we want to inform about the student council and its place in the structure of the faculty, in particular about the plenary assembly, the (current) student council and the work of the council in the committees. The student body and the university administration are parallel organizations which together form the Ruhr-Universit\u00e4t Bochum. Both organizations are divided into student councils or faculties, respectively, which have extensive self-administration rights.
